How come none of these roms come with Touchpal?

Just curious, seeing as how it's always the first thing I throw on my vogue after a hard reset. It's weird to use at first and it works best with the stylus, but it doesnt take long to master it and once you do you won't even realize how much faster you're typing. I use pro but the standard version is free and just as good.

A touch without a touchpal is a sad touch indeed.. anyone agree with me?

I completely agree, Touchpal is the first thing I Install. It's the best out there. But it's also a personal preference and I think that the Chefs know that so they leave the option up to you to use whatever you choose. I know there are those out there that love the SPB full screen one too.

I use TouchPal too, but I don't include it in my ROM because I use the pro/pay version. I have it auto install during UC after flashing or hard resetting.

I agree.. like somebody needs to include the Vista keyboard, SPB Fullscreen, PCM w/ skins and even the TouchPal to make it more fun

The reason SPB Full Screen Keyboard and Touchpal are not ever included in ROMs here is because they are shareware meaning they are not free. Including these items in a ROM would be equal to giving away the authors software which they are selling for free.

This is called warez and is highly unethical and not allowed here.

Hope this clears some things up.

Technically incorrect. Both SPB Keyboard and Touchpal require serial numbers to be "registered". If no serial number is supplied, then there is nothing wrong with including these in a ROM.

I use both touchpal pro (not free) and spb fullscreen keyboard (also not free) which i have mapped to double click the camera button with AEB Plus (unregistered)... what is everyone else using and indicate if it is freeware or not..

How does anyone get use to the different tabs in TouchPal ?
I even have some trouble getting use to PCM keyboard and SPB Fullscreen because of tapping a key and it inserts another.. So lately the only fun I've had is with Vista Keyboard in DNJ04 Custom Rom

I figured you chefs might like to know that TouchPal v3 just came out and now the free version uses the same installer as the pro version, plus it's ridiculously snazzy, which makes TouchPal v3 an ideal cooking ingredient...
