Re: Android For The Vogue Is Here!!!

dzo is the one the maintains the port (he is starting to get help from others) and provides the source needed to run Android on our Vogue. I am the one that packages those files into CAB (for the device) and EXE (for your computer) files for easy installation without having to try and figure out what goes where.

I created new installers based off of today's build. It can be found at http://www.myhtcphone.com/vogue-cab-installer

I don't know if I posted it or not but I also redid my site and added a couple of guides. I will be adding more as I (or others) write them. Check out the site, leave comments and if you want to write some guides for people, let me know.

I had that problem until I downloaded the 1.1 version I believe, the site seems to have two betas available. It synced all my contacts once I installed the 1.1 version. Hope that helps

update eTiger to your very informational website

I believe the Power button acts like the Home button on the G1. Was just reading through your webpage

This is great stuff. I'm excited to see developers heading in this direction.

etiger, the .cab didn't work for exiting menus and loads much slower than just doing things manually. Thought it was an Android issue until I installed it manually.

YES!!! I just installed the latest version (android-05-11-08.zip) and now Android recognizes my 8Gb SDHC card.
- I can now see my music files and play them as well.
- It now also sees all my pics on the SD card.

Martin and all other contributors... This is fantastic!!!!! Thank you

done :) thanks, sorry about that. btw...there anyway that you could maybe host a forum on your site? android specific, with a whole bunch of different sub-forums. bug tracking, faqs/tutorials, news/announcements, files..etc... that would be AWESOME and so much more effective than one or two threads as I'm sure you agree... :S not sure how hard it would be to implement, just asking.

Thanks,
Jim.
