Funambol acts as a middle ware between your sync source and destination using their clients as the transport. Therefore, you need a client at the source and destination. And the account as the middle ware for all your contacts.

1.) Sign up for an account
http://my.funambol.com/
2.) Downoad appropiate client for syncing source (WinMo, Outlook, etc.)
https://www.forge.funambol.org/download/
3.) Sync contacts to funambol account from source
4.) Download Funambol Andoid app
https://android-client.forge.funambo...=60&folderID=0
5.) Place *.apk a folder named "AndroidApps" on your SD card root prior to booting android. (Android will load the app at bootup.
6.) Access the funambol application in Android and voila...

Did you prime your data connection before going into android? Make sure you did. That app is pretty barebones, i don't know how it can go wrong unless the initial sync from outlook wasn't successful.

Keep in mind that when you use exchange, there is a global address book and a local outllok address book. It only syncs the local one... so if you use exchange you may need to copy the address entries from the global address book on the domain to your local WAB file. Should be as simple as just copy and pasting the entries.

I think the cab installer and the .exe files are both by dzo, but etiger is the one that made it into a cab installer, if I'm correct.
