Cool HTC Touch Music player

Hello,
First post and yes I tried several different search topics before starting a new thread.

I have had a ppc since inception. The Hp Jornada. I have never had a smart phone but am looking to upgrade to the htc touch. My only real qualm about this is the WMP.

Is there another music player out there for ppc's that will play .aac files? As most of my music is from itunes and I don't want to have to mess with converting all of my music to .mp3 in order to play them on my phone.

Thanks to everyone in advance and this site is awesome by the way. You guys are awesome.

Re: HTC Touch Music player

tcpmp reads .aac format just fine, you need the .aac plugin, but its hard to find, because of intellectual property violations or some crap like that. i use mine with nno issues whatsoever

Yeah, just like pricey mediocre sound quality iTunes, iPod, and all that stuff... Let's face it Apple is too greedy and money hungry to allow AAC support for anything but where they profit. The TCPMP plugin you need, MO, can be installed via ActiveSync using:

aac.setup.0.66.exe

Or, it can be placed on your Touch directly using:

aac.ARM.CAB

Both of these have become hard to find. I have the 1st, LMK via PM if you can't find either one.

No, Apple protected .m4p files are not supported as they are licensed by Apple and is their protected file format. It will play and sync most anything else out of iTunes, and Windows Media player. And commercial.
