I haven't flashed, downloaded any roms, or cooked any thing in anyones kitchen and I have never downloaded a dialer. My phone is practically useless now. Here is a list of programs thats ever been installed on my phone.

cube configurator (uninstalled)
UL (uninstalled)
vista cube 2.0 (still installed)
nueLED (still installed)
sMMS (1st program I ever installed. don't remember having problems) (still installed)
Happy Tapping keyboard (still installed)
pocket nester (still installed)
HTC home customizer (uninstalled)
minimo (uninstalled)
mini opera (uninstalled)
PIE (still installed)
Screen Capture (still installed)
WM6 threaded txt (uninstalled)
Touchpal v3 (still installed)
remote desktop (uninstalled)
Macromedia flash player (uninstalled)
power manager (uninstalled)

I was responding to where you asked is there a way to reset it back to factory and thats what a hard reset does. Try to uninstall NueLED, thats the only program I see that could cause a problem. Besides, if you have insurance, you can get that replaced. Of course you should take it in to a store first and let them look at it. If you still have all those programs installed when you take it in, they're not goin to say anything except "it could be one of those programs" or something along those lines. Does it lag directly after a hard reset beford installing anything?

You do a hard reset by holding down the send and end buttons (green and red) while doing a soft reset. Then follow the on-screen directions. But like Spence said, it'll only be back to factory default if you haven't flashed a different rom

One thing I see is that these programs don't fully uninstall. Is there something I can do to just completely reset/restore my phone back to factory installation.

I dont know if you have fixed your problem. i have a solution to fix my phone. i would just like to know what is causing it. which sim are you using. how often did you go on the net. do you use sat nav?
let me know thanks. contact me via email and i will give you the solution for free, takes about 1 min to fix till it happens again. ppcgeeks@i-rbc.co.uk

Re: freezing problem with HTC touch

I have a similar problem with VZ Vogue. I am using Manila style dialer cooked into PPCKitchen home brew WM6.5 5.2.21889 (Build 21889.5.0.87)

Sometimes, but not always, when I try to switch to speaker, the whole phone freezes. I can still talk on the phone (without speaker), but when I want to hang up, I have to soft-reset.

Would adding a better dialer on top of this one help, or since it is cooked in, would it matter? And, what is the best(most stable/reliable) dialer for VZ Vogue?
Thanks.
