2nd Bricked VX6900 in Two Days

Well I did it again. This time I made sure that my phone displayed the coke unlocker 2.31 then ran OMJ.WM6.1.GPS.Custom.Verizon. It went thru successfully, restarted my phone and now it's frozen on the HTC Smart Mobility logo. I just don't get it. I followed the ReadMe file and read up on this and now I'm bricked my second phone. What do I do now? Doubt Verizon will give me another especially since it says HTC not Verizon on the screen. Any suggestions?
I just want to be able to use GPS on this phone and maybe use another browser like Opera.
Help please!!!
When I press Power/Camera/Reset it displays:

Vogu100 MFG
SPL-2.31.Coke
CPLD-3

Re: 2nd Bricked VX6900 in Two Days

you can flash a ROM from the multi color screen that you are getting. you are far from bricked. just get to the multi color screen then connect to your computer and then flash the ROM again.

Re: 2nd Bricked VX6900 in Two Days

Oddly enough, I had the same locking problem with OMJ's rom. I figured it was just a fluke and reflashed a different ROM. Everything working since then.

Re: 2nd Bricked VX6900 in Two Days

did you remove the battery for 30 seconds and hard reset after that?

p.s. Brick means it doesn't turn on, if you get tri-color bar screen just flash again, if it locks after the second boot screen theres something about the rom.

I was just wondering the same thing...

You need to flash one of the official ROMs, either the Sprint One(recommended) or the Alltel ROM to get the 3xx radio. If you do not have the radio then OMJ's ROM will NOT work as it is a GPS/Rev. A ROM and requires the new radio.

Go back and read the Consolidated Rev. A/GPS tutorial again. This time DO NOT skip any steps. I honestly do not care if you are IT for Garmin International or the US CIA.

READING that tutorial is not optional if you want to come out of it with a working phone.
