Re: Best Games for Sprint Touch, free or paid?
I really liked broken sword
http://www.pocketgear.com/en_US/html...82&sf=48190044 I had it for my 51v, it looks very nice on a VGA screen. If youre into puzzles and adventure, you will love this game |

Re: Best Games for Sprint Touch, free or paid?
the problem is.. the screen isnt big enough, as well as screen res.. and our phones arent multitouch.
if they were wed be able to play games easier because "hardware" buttons would be mapped on the screen for easy play. |

Re: Best Games for Sprint Touch, free or paid?
Been watching this thread. There's actually a couple other ones up here as well:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=6789 http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=22188 Haven't tried most of the games there but I can vouch for is Bustem: http://file.dimonvideo.ru/kpk/arkady...ustem2.zip.zip Absolutely amazing game. I've always been a fan of the pong/alleyway/arknoid (Something like that) type games. It's true.. was really excited when I downloaded Worms World Party but extremely disappointed when I realized I couldn't play it on the Touch. |

I realize the reply is a bit dated, however I just got Worms World Party as well, and after fiddling with it long enough got it to work on the Touch. Key bindings can be set in the WWPSave.dat ... I included a modified version for the touch here: ftp://ppcgeeks.com/incoming/WWPSave.dat For those interested, you need to edit the file in a hexeditor...10a is fire, 10b jump, 10c backflip. Those need to contain the keycodes (I used enter (center dpad) which is 86 for fire; green send key (72) for jump and red send key (73) for backflip. |

I have Astraware Sudoku, Go Mobile, and Real Dice MC Poker. I plan on buying Four Winds Mahjong ( http://www.4windsmj.com/ppc/index.htm ).

I have Sudoku, Casino and for 'long term strategy', I also bought Pocket War. If you're into games like that, it's strangely addictive. Rest of the time, I use Ms Reader and educate ye ole' brain with a good book.

Re: Best Games for Sprint Touch, free or paid?
For some great alternative games, try Java!!
My favorite games are Orcs & Elves (I and II) and Doom RPG -- made by John Carmack of Doom/Quake fame. They are turn based rpg/strategy java games and run great under the latest Esmertec Jbed 20080222.3.1. Easiest way to install is here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?p=319077 plus you get Opera and Gmail ready to go too! The best versions of these java apps to use with the Touch and latest Jbed are the following: orcs and elves -- version 1.1.16 orcs and elves ii -- version 4.1.30 doom rpg -- version 1.0.20 (newer versions seem to crash under jbed) These will usually be in jar file format, (i.e. orcsandelves.jar) and can be installed into Jbed by selecting Install -> Local Files. To play on the touch, the dpad and action button works great. Only problem is how to pop up the menu to get to items/save/quit/etc. My solution is AE Button Plus and MortScript (just google to find 'em) to map the camera button to number zero key. Just set AE Button plus to map "Button 1" to Run Application and enter the following command: MortScript "/Storage Card/sendkeys.mscr" Just create a text file (i.e use notepad in windows) called sendkeys.mscr in the root of your storage card that contains the following line of code: SendKeys("Java","0") Note: That is a zero in the above line of code! This technique can be used to play many other games and AE Button Plus can also map red/green/volume, plus long press, double press, etc which should give you plenty of buttons. Java Lemmings (I'm running version 1.1.69) is also a fabulous port, it was produced by ifone and supports full touchscreen and music through Jbed. No AE Button mapping needed to play this one!
