theres obviously some glitch that hasnt been worked out with the s/w. the carriers are doing nothing but lose money by not having gps enabled in the devices.

i just hope it is sooner than later. you are probably right because Verizon would have no incentive to withhold it seeing that it could have had a leg up over sprint....

blah. i might by an external gps device too....any recommendations for cheap ones that work well and aren't too bulky?

The only way this ROM is gonna help us now is if it had the new bootloader, and I'm pretty sure that we only get a bootloader when they push an updated ROM. So yeah, our hopes are back in the hands of Sprint.
