Will it ever get fix the spash screen?

When i turn on the phone i always get this lag its supose to do an animation..on the windows its called Animation lol
is there anyway to make it run smoothly on start... Thanks

Well, unless you have a stock rom, you should have Advanced Configuration Tool somewhere around "System tools" you go to "htc animation and you can change settings, i personally changed my gif speed, and set my animation picture to this one:

and set gif speed to 10 =/
works a bit fine with me

what rom are you using? i had a simillar issue while using nfsfan's rom. it seamed to leave it blank or run whatever was on the last rom i had. i flashed back to official sprint rom and it removed the last roms image. dont know if this helps.

I am using nfasfan's rom


i just changed the animation to 10 like Boobuntu said and it actually worked but still lagged.. anybody know the perfect speed to change it so it works perfectly =D

Try a few speeds to see what you like. I think my HTC animation is set @ 6.

how often do you reboot your phone to actually bother with that animation speed? LOL

I too had this problem, so i took the stock animation.dll and added it to my rom, i use ppck kitchen to cook my roms so i just added it to the Drivers_Vogue.rar, no need for advanced configuration
