Touch 101: Editing Voice Mail Speed Dial?

Another probably noobish question from me: If it's been asked before and answered - i haven't been able to located the thread, my apologies.

I've been trying to find a way to access the #1 speed dial button to add my pass code via #.... to my VoiceMail phone number, but can't seem to find a way to do that.
While that may seem trivial to many people, if i could then add a voice tag to dial my voice mail, i wouldn't have to type my pass code in - which would make it very handy while driving.
Anyone know how to get to edit the #1 speed dial/Voice mail?

Thanks,
IB

I don't know how to do that but if you are using Sprint (should do the same for others but haven't tried) there is an option within voicemail to allow you to skip the passcode and go straight to the messages. It only skips the passcode for your phone, when calling in from other numbers the passcode is still required. Just a thought.

Re: Touch 101: Editing Voice Mail Speed Dial?

if you want to add your code, jUst add it at the end of the voice mail number. Under your phone dialer select options. at the end of the number out a p to cause it to pause (I have two for a four second delay- useful in bad connection areas) then out your # and code. might can even add more pauses and the code to play your messages.
