Anyway to instantly hang up before a call goes through?

Hello,

I do a lot of calling and occasionally I'll call the wrong number or decide I don't want to call that person or that particular phone (e.g. home vs. mobile) when using MS Voice Command. I can't hang up immediately, it places the call then it lets me hang up after the first ring - now I've wasted a minute of my minutes (not a big deal) but I've also called someone/disturbed someone I didn't want to. Short of rebooting, is there any way to hang up immediately? I've tried holding down the red hang up, I've pressed it repeatestly but it won't let me kill the call until it actually goes through.
