That's a great answer.

I bought my S9 when I was on vacation in Daytona Beach last month. We would walk the beach each morning and I found out pretty quick that the S9 would cut out if in my pocket. The manual that came with it also mentioned to keep it above the waist.Based on what you and others have said I must have a weaker than normal BT signal. I wonder if there is a way to boost it?

hmmm... it seems kinda hit or miss then. cause some of you are having the same problem that I have on my Mogul.

Well I'll be getting my Touch sometime later this week so I'll test it out and see what happens. I wonder if it's just a problem with the S9's or the phones?

Yeah the S9s on my mogul would cut in and out every now and then. With the touch, they are flawless, even outside.

What can we do about the cutting in and out? I have the S9 on the titan and it cuts in and out all the time. The only way I can seem to get it to work 90% of the time is go to memory and close all programs.

Seems like the BT stack is just better on the Touch. Just turning on BT would lock up my mogul sometimes!

I have the sprint touch and the Motorola S9 and i love the combination of the two. Reception is great and the sound coming from the S9 is great. My only beef is that phone calls only comes out the left side and since I have a problem with my left ear, it's hard for me to hear the call(s). I wish phone calls were in Stereo.

Not sure, I haev always had those A2DP setting boost on. Some report that using them limits the phones ability to pair with multiple items well. So Perhaps those settings do increase the "strength" of signal. The tweaks are listed in the registry tweak thread and look at post 6.

I have the s9 and the touch. They work great. I use the s9 for about 1.5 to 2 hours each time I go to the gym. It never cuts out. I can leave my phone on the floor or in my pocket and it works great.

Re: Motorola S9 and the Touch (and other general Q's)

I just got the s9 this week to go with my Touch. When it works, it works great. The problem I am experiencing is that it needs to be constantly re-paired for stereo BT functionality to work. If I turn off the headset and turn it back on, or walk out of range then return within range, only the hands-free calling function works. When freshly paired, it works great, but each time I want to use it to listen to music on my runs, I need to delete it and pair from scratch.

Anyone else experience this?
