Talking Found a fix for the lockups problem with 6.1

After trying all the posted ROMs, with add on without, the old radio new radio, nothing helped.
I found using PocketToolman 2 (ver. 2.26)
In the OS Tweaks, I had check on the Allow phone to go to Sleep during calls.
Remove the check and no more lockups in the end of a long conversation.

Anyone know the reg setting for this ?

I’m guessing not everyone had this problem, BT is probably keeping the device wake (my BT is in the mailL)

Nice work! I'll definitely try this out. Mine usually locks up after about a 5-6 minute phone call. I'd be very interested in the REG setting for this, if there is one. Now I've gotta go find that tool kit...

Thianks!
Dave

Check the value of this key when you change the option from the program.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Phone]
"Sleep"

Verified this is the setting. Change the value from 1 to 0 to disable allowing phone to go to sleep mode durring calls.

Excellent! Thanks for your work on this, guys... I'll be testing it today to see if it works for me.

Cool. I just updated it in my kitchen so it will be a default in all my ROMS moving forward.

The default value is 1 and I've never had any lockups. Maybe it's because I always blank my screen manually by hitting the power button when on a call. Do you guys only notice this when on a BT call and the phone turns itself off after a few minutes?

I personally have never noticed it either. I have S2U2 blank my screen on calls; but if it helps some people....

I have always used S2U2 also... and never had a lockup... maybe that's why.
DJ

PS. Perhaps just the act of installing S2U2 changes that setting...?

I changed the setting to 0 (as well as changing the setting with the tool kit), and still experienced a lockup today. The timer read about 7:00 when it locked up, and the call was about 15 minutes long.

Bummer. I was really hoping this would fix my issue.
