Invisible Shield Screen Protector - DO NOT RECCOMEND

I know it's contrary to another review that was posted here but I just applied (and then promptly removed) my $15 screen protector from Invisible Shield.

To start with, it was cut to small, not by much but it did NOT fit as perfectly as the included HTC protector.

Secondly the squirt bottle for the included fluid did not work, I had to preform minor surgery on it to get it to function at all, and it never did mist like it's supposed to have.

Beyond that, the application is nearly impossible to pull off without smudges or dust under the film; I had zero issues getting my HTC film on and I've put protectors on my Apache more than a few times without half as much trouble.

I do not recommend this product at all.

Ok, I had the same problem with the installation.
I dorked it up and called them. They graciously sent me out another one.
This one I put on correctly (You have to spray a LOT of stuff on the film) and it is really nice.
It is a little more rubbery than other protectors, and I like that, but it is slightly less slippery when swiping.
I DON'T think it's the best protector for the Touch.
I put the whole body version on my iPod and I DO think it's the best one for the iPod.

Lsme420, tell us more about the protector from Seidio... Are you using that one?

Re: Invisible Shield Screen Protector - DO NOT RECCOMEND

Ya I have been using them on all my PPC's and have never changed or removed one. I also use their slim rubberized case and holsters on all. I've had the same one on my 6800 since the phone came out maybe 7 months ago and the one on my 6700 is older than that and still works/looks great . Easy to put on, just remove the back like a sticker and place it on ,also I never have a problem with dust under it. I have never had a issue with any of their products. I think they should pay me for this post or give me a free Exbattery. HA

Your crazy I love the invisible shield. I buy them for everything. It's not that hard to pout on. And the full body one on my razor lasted for 2 years. It's great.

Re: Invisible Shield Screen Protector - DO NOT RECCOMEND

Uhm, make it easier on yourselves and just use Windex. It lets you slide the screen around after application. Only downside is it takes a little while longer to "dry" and as with any application method, it takes several days to "cure". As OP said, the screen is a tiny tiny bit smaller than the actual screen, but it really doesn't affect its performance at all. Seriously, after a day or two, you won't even notice.

And FYI, it is not scratch proof, it's scratch resistant.

Re: Invisible Shield Screen Protector - DO NOT RECCOMEND

I was very happy with the OEM one, it was the easiest OEM screen protector I ever applied. The Seidio one beats it out, however, at least imo.
