You gotta remember that the drivers wont do you any good until you can get the updated radio to work.

I completely disagree with this. The radio ROM has NEVER had anything to do with GPS before, why is it suddenly different?

Its the drivers and the registry... I'm certain of it.

As for extracting from the NBH, I already did that but I've been at work today so haven't had a chance to do anything with them.

one of the experienced guys, maybe coke?, posted why this would not work when the titan rom leaked and everyone was wanting this. something about radios and bootloaders. i dont feel like searching for it, but youre going down a fruitless avenue

Went through this with the Trinity a couple years ago - same exact scenario.

The Radio is the "go between" the hardware and the OS. Without an update there, you're not going to get anything.

But from what I read, we need the latest bootloader in order to make the gps work and bootloader are very device specific...But keep us posted, I'll light a couple of candles at church for it

Not sure what the missing link is here. But JD got the titan radio to work on the touch. SO....in theory....with the drivers that Ethereal has, and the radio that JD ripped..can we get the GPS to work on the Touch??
