I know the battery cover is different, so I am sure the battery is different as well.

I bought the GSM /ELF dock with extra battery charger. I put in my Touch/Vogue battery and it fit in the dock and did charge. I'm waiting for my elf batteries to arrive. The company sent me the wrong ones at first. So I'll let you know. The voltage and the pinout matches the Vogue battery.

The batteries should be interchangeable between the CDMA and GSM phones, but do note that the extended batteries that need replacement back covers will not work. The battery will fit, but the back cover will not. If you look on Sedioonline.com you will see they advertise the stock sized batteries as being for both versions of the phone. The extended batteries that they sell are device specific.

i assumed the batteries woyuld be the same(the stock batteries)..

i found these dirt cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tab%3DWatching

i might grab like and a cradle charger so i can have multiple backups.. at that price i think they are worth it

Actually the Elf (GSM) is smaller than the Vogue (CDMA), so the stock battery couldbe different in size. I'm just saying... be completely sure before spending the money.

I bought a 1400mAH high-capacity (normal-sized) Elf battery on eBay in December and it fits my Sprint Touch just fine.

The dude still sells them. Here is a current listing:

Stock Battery in Telus P3050 Vogue

The stock battery in the Telus P3050 Vogue is an ELF0160 and I also bought the Boxwave cradle with spare battery charger for the 3450 Elf and it works fine.
