Answering on First Ring

Just a little Vogue "Rave" for a change...
So apparently yesterday all my calls between me and another Sprint Touch customer have been able to be answered on the first ring. I didn't do anything except recently update to the newest prl and I changed my SCI to 0 a while back. The other sprint person hasn't even adjusted their SCI. Not sure what changed but hey, I'm liking it. in Seattle, WA too (meaning full EvDO coverage areas).

P.S. Please don't ask how to do these-there are plenty of threads on both.

how has battery life been with sci set to 0?

It's fairly well. lasts me a work day but not really a full day. I use my phone a decent amount though. Make sure u turn off ur incoming beams and do the battery hacks. they help. I am thinking about investing in the 2000maH battery though to ensure i can always get a full day.

I actually noticed the same thing the other day too. Usually on the other end, it would ring about 3 or 4 times before my phone would actually ring. Now it rings right after the first ring on the other end. But I have a WM 6.1 ROM on mine, so that may be the difference.

My Mogul has been on SCI 0 for 2 months and I believe there has actually been a boost to battery life, and I no longer have calls going to Voice mail. I took my phone off the charger at 5:30 am today, made about 20 calls, I have a gif file as my S2U2 screen, used GPS several times and sent/received about 50 text messages and my battery is at 80% 12 hours later. Oh and also had an active data connection for about 2 hours using Slick.
