I can move my keyboard
 

I'm not sure exactly what I did, but I can manually move my keyboard around on my screen. All I know someone mentioned some reg tweak that moved there kb to the top of the screen with a reg edit. I did that like a month ago but just noticed by accident today. I think the original poster was using spb kb or something if anyone has more info pls share with us cause I think everyone else might find that usefull

NO, seriously I can drag my kb around my screen like a window in XP and I think it was because of some regedit I did.... I was just trying to share my findings with everyone but thanks for being helpful to the discussion

heres the reg edit i did
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip\Now

go to DragStyle and change (0) to (1)

Whoa, that's COOL! And maybe even somewhat useful...I'll have to see what happens with this over a normal day...might solve a couple of problems.

This has to be THE solution for successful use of the Palm threaded sms app. I saw that post a while back and did not understand how to get the keyboard up to the top of the screen. Sweet find indeed.

Very nice now I can put live search at the bottom of my homscreen move the keyboard up and still see what I'm inputting. Works great the only thing I noticed is the small keyboard is not totally showing. The bottom row is missing. Anyone else have this issue? BOO

it does work, or you could just install the WM6.1 ROM which has threaded built-in and worknig 100%. No double sends or any of those bugs anymore.

It's possible that you have have to create the key and the entry that he has mentioned. I already had the entry, but the value was 0.

I just clicked on sip went down below found dragstyle editted from 0 to 1 waited a minute soft reset and it worked. BOO

There is no "Now" key...he just meant to say "Now go...."
The word "Now" should have been on the next line.

yep works. not bad but the drag menu bar is huge!

I guess nobody else has the same problem with their small KB missing the bottom row? BOO

i think it has to do with the size of the drag bar. it does scrinch some things up but i didnt notice a whole bar missing

hmmm i dont notice anything missing.... did u try switching your sip and than switching back and than maybe drag the kb around and see if it was just hiding

How did this end up working with the Palm messaging... until someone posts a stock Alltel WM 6.1 I'm looking for a fix... :(

so...now that I changed it, How do you drag?

just drag with your finger nail like u would a window in windows btw I do have the issue with the kb getting cut off at the bottom on the small kb but i ue the touch kb so no worries for me

I use this the palm threaded text app with this hack and it works great...I dont even really have to move the the kb if I dont want to. When I type in a threaded text box the word I am currently typing shows up below the kb but I moved the kb up to the chat window so I can see the whole text box

YES. It works Great with all the stock KB's and Touchpal. BOO

I have touchpal and still can notfigure out where to tap and drag it!!! It just does not move.

blaq there should be a bar at the top of your kb click and drag that like a window on your computer

Man this is awesome, did notice that when your using palringo it cuts into your text area, you still have access to it, but a smaller window.

Cool hack but i loose i hole line on the PCM Keyboard does any one know how to fix it

Any one else having this problem? If I close text app before closing keyboard the keyboard stays open over today screen. I'm using resco keyboard.
