hey i know a lot of you wanna see what the threaded SMS in wm6.1 looks like. so here are some screens...

There is a beta that was "leaked", and No2Chem released a Rom for us (vogue users).

It runs pretty well, I've had very few issues with 6.1, about the same number of issues as I had with 6.0!

Not to put it down, but it looks like every other threaded text program. I would like to see it have the person pictures show up in the message like "Textr" does. The only problem with "Textr" is that it slows the phone to a crawl.

Any other improvements?

I wasn't saying that it wasn't good enough. I was just saying that if they were gonna do it, adding the photo would have been an improvement over most of the other threaded programs. I didnt complain about the original text program

I thought i read some place that No2Chem v2.0 Build 5025 was a Titan rom and also WM 6.1 built off the 3.16 rom.

I just have 2 questions

1. What skin is being used on the keyboard in that screenshot?
2. Is there a cab?

1 thats just the stock touch keyboard
2 no, you have to flash the new rom. apparently threaded sms it too integrated into the os to simply extract

it is the stock keyboard, BUT... it is also a skinned keyboard as well. a very nice one at that made by my idol Polen. do a search for Vista keyboard and you should find the tbeead and how to install it.

oh thats right, i forgot i had even installed that haha. yeah, his vista keyboard and dialer skins are awesome

Does it have the full functionality of the un-skinned KB & un-skinned dialer?

Yes, it does. It's the vista keyboard and vista dialer skins. They are installable via cab files.

i really like the threaded... very very nice feature. its kinda tough in landscape mode tho, you can only see like one line when typing. im tryn to get a screen but idk how to get landscape ones

The Palm one is annoying others with the 2x messages & the Pocket_CM is a forever updating madd app.

ok, back to topic. OP thanks for the screen shots, it really makes me want to flash 6.1 now.

Anyone know how to stop the threaded sms from displaying a popup of new texts? It's sort of convenient to reply right away, but I rather go into the inbox and do it that way.

6.1 Is really Nice, and super fast (given i have a 32 meg page pool)
The threaded sms is awesome, and the camera is waaaay faster...
But iv had the issue where i cant install certain cabs, when i open them they just
sit at the beginning of the installer, and i have to soft reset...
Its happend with Weather Panel, opera 6.65 and a couple others i cant think of right now...

how do i enable threaded messages on my sprint Touch?
