Weather application - Add cities?

Can you add cities to the stock weather application that comes with the touch?

If so, can you explain how? Thanks!

I know you can add custom cities with the stock weather application on the Touch if you install HHC (http://www.pocketemu.com/hhc-info.html).

And if you don't already have HHC installed, you should, because it is pretty freakin' sweet (and free to boot)!

:)

Well, I downloaded HHC, but it won't recognize my town. Any suggestions?

Same here, it doesnt download the data even after a reset. accuweather knows my town because I have searched it.

Have you tried it by zip code? That is always how I set mine, no matter where I am.

It says "Attempting to download data..."
Then it says "Unable to retrieve data for selected city. Select here to retry."
So I select it and it does the same thing. I added the city and zip in HHC.

Here guys,
This is the link to N2A's page.
http://weather.not2advanced.com/files/
It has the files you need to get the weather working for your local cities. Just read through it and follow his instructions. It works on my Alltel Touch perfectly.

Yeah that is how I chose my city. Tried all of the zip codes for my area but no luck. Im not really THAT worried about it since a city in the stock touch plugin is just 30 miles away so its not that different.

Thanks Jay, I'll try that out when I get home.

While I did not need it as I am able to get my city without issue, I have bookmarked the site. The information is solid and could come in handy if I go to a smaller community for training for work, a vacation with my family, etc.

Thanks for the information Jay.
