You seem to have it all set up know, but you could have used HTC homeplug if you wanted to stick with OEM apps.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...3&d=1193685440 You can have up to 9 apps on one row (9 is pushing it in portrait - I use 8). The interfaces is all registry based unfortunately. Wizbar Advanced Desktop can do anything - That is, if you have a lot of time. You could have a virtual desktop page with all of your HTC plugins and another page with some iCube or Vista ripoff theme - just to keep usability under control. |
I wanted to do something like what you are suggesting a while back. It can be done various ways. You can keep your preexisting HTC Home and just a add a plugin below it.
SPB Pocket Plus 4.0 will work but is overkill for what you are doing. Wisbar will also work but again, alot to digest for what you are doing. What I ended up using is cLaunch, great for one or two lines of simple icons that are modifiable. You can get rid of the tabs so only the icons show. Plus it is free (unlike the first two suggestions). i had mine with a row of some iPhone icons. Again the key to gtting cLaunch to look like a single row of icons is go into settings and disable the display of tabs, i believe they call it "Show menu items" or show tab items or something like that. |
