Photo viewer registry edit

does any1 know exactly where and how i can change it so that i am able to view all my photos using the built in viewer.... the pictures i take are saved to my storage card in the same folder as all my other pictures i load to my phone... i am unable to view any of my pictures on the phone using the album viewer.. i have to use file explorer........ any help? thanks!!!

I took all my pics and put them in the DCIM folder and that seemed to do the trick I also erased all the preinstalled pics...

I took the pics folder put it on the desktop via activesync and then put them in the DCIM folder. I am a noob and I did it so I am pretty sure you can too.
