Question remote control app

so i was looking around the forum and i found this program. http://www.novii.tv/ - is this possible to get to work with the touch.. it says it needs to use IR .. but does out touch have IR? looks like a cool app if it can work

is it possible to get it to work wit the touch though? ive read that we use blue tooth for all beams .. is it possible to configure it to work

If it did work, it would most likely be as practical as it is on every other windows pda ever made. But it doesn't work. Bluetooth and IR are two completely different things at the hardware level. No similarity whatsoever.

remote control with PDA

the only one I found that worked used an IR dongle that plugged into the headphone jack. this article in engaget describes it. but it requires the use of a standard headphone plug.
