Is the dot on the screen or is it actually on the picture? For example, if you download the pictures to your computer, do you still see the red dot in the exact same place every time?
If so, there may be a problem with the CCD/CMOS (not sure which the touch uses). The phone will probably need to be replaced. I'm not sure if a tech can just swap out the camera portion, but I'm guessing not. |

I know its not the LCD because when I do a Gesture zoom from the Picture Album so does the red dot! But I'm sure that trying to get an a TEP replacement for just a dead Cmos pixel would be like trying to do the same with a dead LCD pixel.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.. A dead pixel doesn't affect your pictures or really do anything other than be annoying. A messed up camera CMOS makes the camera useless, so I bet they wouldn't give you any trouble replacing it.

Are you sure? Its pretty small. The sprint techs in my area are lazy and caused me to loose a MicroSD once.

Now theres a vertical green line that just showed up today. Man this sucks! I don't use my camera that often but for over $400, I paid to at least have access to those features even if I don't use them. They probably will tell me that Ill have wait till the order me a refurb or something. This really sucks!
