Delete your inbox files stored on your storage card. Do not delete if it is stored in your main memory. If the inbox is stored in your main memory then you will have to do a hard reset. This has happened to me a number of times and that fix does work.

I used to have this problem once a week. I just stopped storing mail on my card and have never had it happen since.

Haha happened to me today, Im new to the touch got it abut 3 days ago, so far minor stuff, litte lock ups, etc, but nothings perfect and the positives by far outweigh the negatives. Anyways couldve taken me 15 min to read up here instead of the 45 I spent with a tech and he didnt even figure it out, told me to return it, so when Im taking off my memory card I curiously checked again and BAM worked. Thought my card was bad but Im gonna go delete those mail files. THANKS to all.

storage card mail attachments
yep I can confirm. Had nothing to do with the startup items. Its the mail attachments. Had it happen to me again today, pulled out the storage card, soft reset, open messaging. delete the files inbox files on the storage card.

Whew. THANK YOU. This happened to me once before, and then it magically (or so I thought) started working again when my sd card accidentally got formatted.
Happened to me again today, and I KNEW I had seen a thread on one of the many Touch forums that had a solution. You saved me yet another hard reset! |
