Help! Vibrate stopped working on my Touch

I don't know how this happened as it worked yesterday and I hadn't done anything to my phone since but all of a sudden my phone's vibrate function has stopped working. I have checked all of my ringer settings and they all say vibrate but when I get a call or text the phone is just silent. Also when I do a soft reset it doesn't even vibrate on the restart. I am worried this is a hardware problem and I really don't want to have to deal with Sprint on this but it seems like it's going to be my only choice. Anyone have any suggestions of what I can try?
