Re: WORKING Audiopara file for TOUCH!!!

i've tried two differnet files and with each i get the following message that i've never seen before:

String to replace must be at least one character

Line:
fileData = Replace(
fileData, datefile, dateFix)

WTF??????

you need to rename the extension from .txt. csv then copy it into the window directory.

I created a cab file to fix or replace the AudioPara file. This cab will replace the AudioPara with one that has been tweaked for a loud volume. There is not an uninstall of this cab. If you wand to go back to the old AudioPara file just delete AudioPara.csv in your phone window directory and soft reset.

I've installed the .cab, but I'm not sure it hellped me, I'm looking for a higher level of output from the 11pin mini usb, I'm using it to output into car radio and the touch's volume (with tcmp or audio manager and phone at max) is only half of the cars other inputs like the radio or cd. If I plug my i-pod in the same 3.5mm jack into the car its also louder than the Touch :(

Try this,
Download and install Totoal Commander. (Unless you already have it installed) :-)
http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab

After its installed open your windows directory using Total Commander. Scroll down and highlight audiopara.csv. Now click on the notepad icon on the bottom menu of Total Commander. This will open the file using a notepad application. Scroll down to row F25,CE_PLAYBACK_HEADSET. This is the setting for the headset. Each setting is separated by a comma. Setting 1 is F25, Setting 2 is CE_PLAYBACK_HEADSET and so on. Go to setting 4 which should be 4000. Change it to a bigger number, like 8000, then save the file and reboot your phone.

Test to see if the volume is higher and please report back. I would like to know if it helps.

I gave it a whirl. After soft reset, I checked to make sure the change held, and it did, but the volume over wired headset is no louder...

I just changed it and will try it later, I'll try 2000 also to see if I can hear any change either way.
Do you know how large setting 4 can go?
Is it 9999 to stay within 4 digits or can the number of digits go up?
