Newbie....But

I really want this phone. My only concern is my fat fingers trying to text. I played with one today at the Sprint store....however I could never get the keyboard up to text. Is there a way you can just use the numbers like with T9. If so are the numbers for text big enough without pushing 2 at once. Somone with fat fingers please respond. lol. Thanks for any replies and I will probably be around here alot after tomorrow......cause I am most likely going to pick this thing up tomorrow.
