I'm using the HTC Performance cab and to me it looks like my Vogue is snappier. Again, like others say it's perhaps the placebo effect. LOL. Anyone know if anything was ever proven with this app?

I'm doubting that there will ever be a program that can overclock the MSM7500.

The dual-core architecture will make overclocking a pain in the ass since I'm sure Qualcomm didn't put a speedstep-type function in the chip.

This means you'll probably have to do an overclock on the bus frequency, thus overclocking the chip, just like the PC, which will pose problems on the 133MHz core IMO.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

100% agree...

If you just want to make it go slower, then just put a lot of crap on it. Activate as many Today Plugins as you can and also leave open any programs via minimizing instead of closing. Turn on WiFi, Beams, Bluetooth, as well as running streaming media and you'll be set for a nice easy ride down information Sloway.

And conversly if you want to speed it up, do just the opposite.

The program doesn't do anything for the touch

There are THREE Touches folks (actually more if you include the dual).

GSM 200Mhz
GSM 400Mhz
CDMA 400Mhz

Obviously the OP tried to overclock his 200 to 260 and it worked for a while.

Well the OP answered the question above. Answering the question above implies the first part of the statement of having a SPRINT Touch.

Posting without some clarifications wastes everyones time.

I don't think so. As far as I know there are two GSM versions: the P3450 (HTC Touch) with a 201MHz processor and 64MB RAM/128MB ROM, and the P3452 (HTC Touch Enhanced / HTC Touch XL) with a 201MHz processor and 128MB RAM / 256 MB ROM.

Unless there are 3 GSM versions of the Touch?
