Custom Roms.. do you think they will come to the Touch as much as to the Mogul?
 

So I pulled the trigger and got the Touch instead of the Mogul. LOVE IT. Its the finished product the Mogul never was. I could never go back.... the word Mogul is just so 2007 BLAH.

The device is perfect............ EXCEPT The cube needs hacking. Sprint junk needs hacking but the IM App and TV app need to stay. ETC.

BUT.... I'm a little concerned as to whether the Touch will ever have the developer/hacker support that the Mogul already has. I know it just came out but still the Touch forum usually has 20 people versus the Mogul forum with 60.... ALTHOUGH I've noticed several prominent members of the community have made the switch to the Touch

Just hack the cube. It's very simple.

I hope the touch will get more attention. I just got the touch a few days ago. I love the device.

Actually, I believe the Touch will be abandoned very quickly for the phone pictured below. It's a shame the designers of the Touch couldn't see that the end-user REALLY only wants a keypad and a nice antenna. Live and learn I suppose. :-k

We are still a long way from custom ROMs. Probably no research will be done until at least one ROM update is released, that's how it usually goes.

Some work may be done on unlocking the Touch, extended ROM, etc. But the device was just released...

i didn't think the mogul even had a custom rom released yet???

No kitchen for the Mogul but there are ROMs.

As for the Touch... I don't think there will be as much development in the ROM department for it because it appears there are very few issues with it that need fixing.

There will be work on the touch, but i don't have one yet.... I already looked into hacking it's SPL to allow custom roms though.

Someone needs to stop by the Titan (Mogul) forum ;)
