Finger Scrolling HTC Audio Manager
Hello...
Does anyone have a build of HTC Audio Manager that works with TouchFLO? I have been looking for HTC Audio manager 1.2 (919.713) Build which came from a Touch Dual so I would "think" it may.... Any help with be great!!! |
Anyone??? Anything???
|
Well really! How rude of people not to be able to answer your question in 13 hours!
Good reason to bump your own thread. Society of instant gratification... |
Thanks Willy.... I am not sure what's more rude..... Me bumping my own thread or you bumping it by adding a reply with zero value...... ;)

Here it is. Sorry I found it earlier today but I just FINALLY got to test it and it does in fact work.
|
Thank you much Mustang!!
Forgive my ignorance but how do I install it and where?.... It's not a cab.... Do I just put the HTC Audio Manager folder in the programs folder or windows? Or do I put the contents of the HTC Audio Manager folder in programs or windows folder.... Sorry for being stupid.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/wink.gif |
There is a readme file, but basically you unzip it and copy the Folder that you unzip to the Windows/Start Menu/Programs folder on your device.
It isn't an ideal setup, but it does work. |
Thank you!... I had to do some minor tweaks but I got it working and looking how I wanted.... The Audio Manager you gave had a blue skin and I wanted the grey/black one.... So I installed the AudioManagerWM6.cab version and then just overwrote the AudioManager.exe with the one in your zip file.... Now it's a black and grey player that is finger scrollable!!!... The last "minor" issue would be the ability to create ringtones which I can't get to work with any HTC Audio Manager I have found. Again thank you VERY much you put me on the right track!! I would still be interested in see HTC Audio manager 1.2 Build (919.713) to see if it's black/grey and the ringtone maker works.....

The Audio Manager installs into the Windows Directory..... You would replace the EXE there...
I was shown a better way as well... This is the newest Audio Manager that is black and finger scrolling...... The only downside is the ringtone maker dosent work, but I haven't had one Audio Manager where it did work..... http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=448 |
Sweeeeet!!!
thanks...installing now

Ok, here's my question to the experts out there...I got the 5 tab HTC and the last tab is the "LAUNCH MUSIC PLAYER" ... I have installed the AudioManagerWM6.cab (which works perfectly fine launching the music tab (LAUNCH MUSIC PLAYER) ... I then extracted the HTC Audio Manager zip into PROGRAMS FILES ... I used SkTools to set the left soft key to open up the FINGER scrolling Audio Manager, but when I go to the last tab (5th one) , it still opens up the old audio manager ...
I want to know if there is something I am missing to have the left soft key revert back to SMS and have the LAUNCH MUSIC PLAYER button open up the "finger scrolling audio manager" , I know this should be possible, but I have tried a couple ways and no success ... I just find it rather useless to have the left soft key open up the finger scrolling one, and then the last tab of HTC open up the original, please help me tweak the settings to where I can open up the finger scrolling audio manager using the 5th tab (launch music player)....PLEASE HELP :) :) :) thnx |
Personally I would of (depending on your device, I have the Sprint Touch) kept the original HTC Home, installed HTC Home Customizer and enabled the music tab with it. Not installed the AudioManagerWM6.cab and used the AudioManager build 917.??? in this thread. That's what I did and everything works flawless...... (besides not being able to make ringtones with the AudioManager)...
I hope that helps! |

I was doing a little research on the HTC Audio Manager. Is this any better (functionality wise) than WMP? I really cant see any good reason to install it. Someone please enlighten me :???:
|
it's 10x better than WMP in my opinion...... It looks nicer..... Easier to use..... and uses less memory.......
|
Can anyone plz help me ... read my post from above ... would def. appreciate it if there is a way how to link the finger scrolling manager w/ the 5 tab (Launch Music Player) instead of the default (non finger scrolling) audio manager.....

Edit: It saves it in My Documents/My Ringtones |

Which version of Audio Manager do you use??? I use HTC Audio Manager v1.02.919.713 |

I answered you a few days ago on this..... What device do you have and did it come with Audio Manager preinstalled?..... If not then uninstall the first (non-scrolling manager) and just have the HTC Audio Manager v1.02.919.713 version installed on your device...... |

On the Media side of the cube, is it possible to get this version of the HTC Audio manager to play minimized in the cube like it does with WMP? ...where it shows the song playing and gives you the basic controls of back, pause, and forward.
|
Nevermind, I figured it out. I just had to setup the media Player option to point to AudioManager instead of WMP :)
|
Does anyone have the audio manager from Touch Dual yet?

Please let the rest of us know how to do this? thanks. BTW I am searching like mad and can't find the answer. I edited the cube media hub mini to play audio manager. it works fine, but when i pull up the cube again I don't see the "mini Player" in the cube. when I use Media player as the button on the cube i do get the "mini player". so obviously there is somehting in the reg that says when media player is playing and you pull op the cube, show mini player. I would like that mini player to come up when i am using Audio manager. Confused yet? |

Re: Finger Scrolling HTC Audio Manager
Anyone know how to retrieve the original music app on hd2 whilst running the spb mobile shell. I can find it in the windows folder but cant seem to run or link it! I've tried other media players on the phone but i just like the stock app better.

You could make a link to it using some kind of link creator and place the link in Windows/Start Menu/Programs. |
