I really don't think it is possible to change any of the text that appears in any of the message/notification boxes unless you actually rewrite the code in the notifications part of the OS. I suggest you look for an alternative application that may give you the messages/notifications that you are looking for.

You are correct, Sir. There is no way to change the pop up text without rewriting the code. You can disable them or enable them with reg hacks and that's about it.

i had to hard reset my touch and i am trying to change the screen sensitivity but i cant find the thread with the regedit anymore.

Is there a way to put the Start menu at the bottom instead of the top? Sorry if this is a noobish question, but I figured since there were no soft keys anymore, that the "soft key buttons" and the Start menu could be swapped.

How can I change the contacts and calendar touch-key buttons to access messaging and other programs? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Sorry I'm a noob

These are found in HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Microsoft>Today>Keys

112 is the left "soft key"
Default = the text in the button
Open = Program it opens (if you just put a program name, like Calendar.exe it will automatically look in the Windows directory for the program)

to set the right key you will need to create the key 113 and then set its values.

I can't use these two power setting, becuase I use VPN and when I connect my VPN connection shuts right off.

Ok, I had a mogul before the touch and used regedit to add SMSNoMsgSent value@1 and it worked fine. I tried the same with my touch and it didnt do anything. Any help?
