Re: Tethering A Touch

I deleted the forced connection & isext.dll in the reg and it appears to want to work. I'm currently at work and don't have access to my phone at work, but I attempted to connect and it connected via PCS Connection and NOT as Phone as Modem.

Great news! Thanks guys. PPCGeeks is awesome!

hopefully someone uses the "search" for this... on my htc touch i upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1 and under that registry key in extension --- > "Extension"="rilphone.dll" it had something totally different, so i just renamed the **.dll to .dll1 and off i go, i am currently using my phone as a modem no problems (right this moment i am posting this over sprint's data network...lol:protest: ) with my "simply Everything" unlimited plan which turns out to have MASSIVE limitations, thank god for registry tweeks eh? oh and the ** refers to what ever file name you have before the .dll.... thats for all the newbs...:headbang:

Re: Tethering A Touch

Does anyone know if this can be tethered to a macbook os 10.5? I have the phone as modem plan on my Sprint acct already and when I connect it to my laptop it says that there is a problem with my "usb connection." I tried connecting to my sister's windows laptop and it works just fine...Help anyone!!

Hope this works
