Hmmm...

A while ago I too had major issues with GPS not working on my Vogue (Verizon).

I then followed that thread on XDA on:

- loading old Coke
- loading non GPS ROM (stock)
- loading new Coke
- loading latest Verizon GPS ROM - DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN
- loading NFSFAN's or Vin's latest ROMs

I get GPS locks without much issues now, about 30-45 seconds cold, about 15 secs max otherwise.

Thanks. Did you use QPST to edit the GPSONE settings also?

Re: Who has GPS locks on their Vogue?

I can only use stand-alone GPS - no data.
I have gone through the steps:
- loading old Coke
- loading non GPS ROM (stock)
- loading new Coke
- loading latest Verizon GPS ROM - DO NOT LET CUSTOMIZATIONS RUN
- loading NFSFAN's or Vin's latest ROMs

I am using NFSFan's 6.5 ROM.
I still get very sporatic locks.
It often locks very quickly when I am home.
If I am out (Where it would actually be worth something)
It sometimes takes an hour or more to lock.
It seems like the more I want it to work, the less likely it will.

Be careful loading the non-verizon ROM, it screwed up my phone location settings and I had to get the Verizon techs to get me back to working.
The last version of the kitchen was messing up my phone so I could make calls, but I could not answer incoming calls. I ran across a thread that seemed to fix that problem, so I am downloading the new kitchen to give it another shot.

Nope, that I did not do.

Pretty much wha I listed is it.

Now, people should understand that there is some danger associated with going back to non-GPS radio (there is a thread on it somewhere here, by people much phone-smart than I am), but I never did see any issues with this, and I did it on two separate Vogues with same results - working GPS...
