thanks to pyrorob for finding this here is a dummy fwupdate package, also PACKAGE_MEGA_Menu_Enhancement does not seem to work without manila2D running, but i think i have found a reg key by hex editing CUIHandler.dll i came across this:\

.H.T.C.M.a.n.i.l.a.2.D...M.a.n.i.l.a.....E.n.a.b.l .e.M.a.n.i.l.a.C.h.e.c.k...S.o.f.t.w.a.r.e.\.H.T.C .\.\.H.T.C.M.e.n.u.s.........

so i added this

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\HTCMenus]
"EnableManilaCheck"=dword:0

to the .rgu in that package and it seems to work now need someone else to verify tho

im not to sure but it with the dummy one it gives back almost 2 meg of space
at a guess maybe FirmWare update? maybe ?

Need PACKAGE_MEGA_HTCFramework as MDPL.dll is a dependency for PACKAGE_MEGA_Menu_Enhancement

lol....Alien, I have ported everything....

I'm having an issue with the Messaging tab on the 2DM....it always shows 1/**

And both the Messaging, email, album, and Music tab don't show arrows? Is it suppose to be like that?

And also do you have a problem when you press the new message button the lower left corner of it is black?

These are the only problems I have left now....

umm i dont use manilla , so i dont know about those problems sorry

i just noticed you posted a mega rom and saw you had the same boot up ram as i did, thought it was just me lol, isnt that atrocious 54%

Yea dude....it's killing me

lol, and the SYS arent doing no better with thier memory leaks....so I'm averaging around 62%-64%

And the battery is taking some effect too...

But have you figured out how to get EZInput working or the Vibrations for TouchOptions to work?

ezinput is working for me didnt have to do anything to it, striaght out of the box, good to go, the vibrations no havent got them going yet , have you got the sys for the mega?

But you got the EZINput working, like Compact, QWERTY, and Phonekeypad?

I can only get QWERTY to work and no vibrations from it....

yup...same here....only qwerty too

I am 99% sure that the problem for that is BioTouch.dll....we need someone to patch the BioTouch.dll to work with our device

But also, your menu enhancement fix works, and it also works for the task manager as well :)

its a depencey of this package PACKAGE_MEGA_TouchOptions

actually i think that should be around the other way PACKAGE_MEGA_TouchOptions is dependent on commctrl.dll

dang...this menu enhancement is too sensitive...

One build it works, the next it doesnt....I considering going back to the Rhodiums and Iolite task manager....these 2DM dependent packages just arent cutting it....

well i never have a problem with it works everytime i cook a rom, there is a thread over at xda that might be worth checking out , u proly have already but just incase

i also have been hex editing touch.dll found in megas oem drivers and that has refernces to the sip , so im cooking a rom with all the touch references i could find in the registry as well as that .dll

yeah well that didnt go so well froze up on setup your device screen lol, do you know if mmmap.dll is device specific? do you have xip for htc mega? im not having much luck with the ezi input either

I dont have anything but what dag posted....

and I take back what I said....I cant get menu enhancement working at all anymore lmao...

I mean the only thing I changed was UPX'ing some .exes....I change them back and it still doesnt work

I give up...going back to rhodium's (the exact same thing anyways)

EDIT: Spoke too soon....forgot to recmod some dlls....

mmmap.dll, coredll.dll, commctrl.dll we need access to these .dll files

mmmap.dll and core.dll are in the XIP....mmmap is in OEM and core is in MS

commctrl.dll is in the SYS Common already....

Most XIP's have mmmap.dll removed I believe...or at least the vogue does

roger that just found some in the emulator i dunno wether they work as they probably arent the right versions but ill give it ago, there has to a sys and xip to go with these packages!

I wish I had a working VK kitchen for vogue....I can build one but it never boots....so unless someone can help me out i wont figure out this at all

(When i say it wont boot, i mean the first splash screen never shows, its just blank)

dude i have not got a clue lol , i have none of that stuff on my phone as data connections over here in new zealand are very expensive, so remove all that stuff from my sys ie, abode flash , opera , livesearch , windows live, market,msn, internet sharing, office all that and more its all crap to me and useless. Thats also most of the reason why i dont post a rom either

We need to ask Da_G for the whole Mega Dump.....and the core.dll is in the ms part of the XIP of the rhodium roms

Idk where gpsvc is

(Also the keyboard still doesnt work....those .dlls is what we need)

gpsvc.dll has to be in error. Its not a win ce dll. Its group policy client for win 32. Didn't show for me using dependency walker on messaging enhancment exe
