yeah i did a soft reset and i dont have total commander installed i have phmregedit tho, im gonna check if it made the reg changes

EDIT: the values did change but it didn't do anything, so i reseted the value, waited, soft reset, changed the value to 0 again, waited and reset and the music still stops....

Hmmmm. I might have to download and flash this rom to see what's going on.

for all the vzw users that are having troubles for whatever reason, on page one I posted a little tutorial on what i did with my own phone from beginning to end, and I haven't had any problems after flashing a custom ROM
I am hoping this can cut down on the problems that people are having with their phones. I don't know if this could apply to sprint as well because I don't use sprint. but if it does than great, and if it doesn't maybe someone that uses sprint, and rarely has problems can give a quick down and dirty of what they did.

Is there any chance you could cook up a Bell ROM like the Sprint (spinlockpatched, office2k7, etc)? Or could I install the Sprint and then install Bell DCD after?

You should be able to install the bell dcd cab after the sprint.
That should hold you off till he makes a bell specific rom if he does.

So I tried updating to the "nuespinlockpatched Sprint 21725 Vogue ROM office07 and sprint picturemail added" version. This build will not finish booting for me. It just stays on a black screen after the sprint lightning animation.

Anyone else see this?

Did you try flashing to stock rom before flashing to custom rom?
It eliminates tons of problems.
Otherwise we'll have to wait to see what jtuite says.
