So just got an alarm, it said i had 30 days left on my windows 6.5 account. what the hell is this???

Theres supposedly some kind of timebomb inside the old builds that I didn't know about so I didn't go and manually take them out. I suggest flashing to a new ROM =/ I just fixed my computer but I put linux on it so Ill be awhile.

Woo, linux is the way to go bro.
It's waaaaaayyyyy better.
Only problem I hate is the compatibility with some games and some apps.
But you can usually find a linux app that does the same thing.

But have fun on your linux adventure,
and hope to see more roms from you in the future.

data line won't connect. everything but the keyboard is working pretty good. but the Data line won't connect unless i'm hooked up to my computer. i get error code 11

you have to do it when you cook the rom.
from my knowledge anyways.

Try deleting everything,
shouldn't need a username/pass for your data connection.
if that doesn't work, try running your carrier's dcd carrier cab located in my faq. link to my faq is in my signature.

I had the same problem just recently...can't say exactly what the problem was, but I went through and reflashed the vzw MR1 ROM...if you do a search for it, you should find a link to the download on this site.

Once I got back to the VZW ROM, everything was working fine, so I went ahead and took baby steps to the Bell ROM in order to get the radio upgrade, then moved forward to a 6.5 ROM.

Good luck to you and if you try this and it works, all the better.

(If this doesn't work and this if your first time trying to upgrade, I hear calling VZW and asking a tech to do a DMU reset can help. Not all techs know how to do this, but if you mention that a friend told you its what needs to be done, someone will hopefully hook you up.)

I tried deleting everything and loaded the dcd. still won't connect. I think I'll wait for NFS to release V9 and reflash with that rom. I hope that works. If not I'll call Verizon and get them to reset it

Which bell rom/radio upgrade. I called verizon and did the dmu reset and had no success.
