I have already flashed my phone to a different rom once(wm5 to 6.1) are there any different steps flashing to this rom?

if those were official roms from your carrier or htc website that you flashed,
then yes, there are more steps.

it says its for nfsfan's rom, but only thing that's not compatible are the themes that mod the titanium cpr's. those will screw up your titanium plugin if you use them.

oh no it was a custom ROM can't remember which one. I have an alltel radio and coke on the phone already. i should be able to just follow those steps still?

yeah, as long as the radio is a 3.XX (gps radio) you should be fine.
Just skip the unlock process and all that,
and then continue with the walkthrough.

not sure what happen. I flashed the rom everything seemed to work. but none of the apps are with it and it seems to be a basic alltel rom. looks like WM5

ok the problem seems to be happening because the RUU is losing connection. right after I click next my phone restarts in to the coke screen and than the grey screen to start loading the rom. The progress bar on the RUU never moves and than I get the 260 connections error. But the phone's progress is successful but seems to just be reloading a stock ROM. What mistake am I making?

Go to the IMCokeMan's unlocker thread,
and search for that error number that pops up.
They should have a walkthrough of how to solve that.

Cody thanks for the help. my problem turned out to be I had an old ROM on my storage card and it kept flashing that. Dumb noob mistake I know!

I loaded Shadows rom everything is running very nice wm6.5 is so fluid!


Has anyone found a fix for using the T9x phone keypad from dialing numbers?
