With a "Global ready card" at least thats what I think its called.....Its basically a sim card and makes the phone GSM out of the states.

I presume that they jsut have a slot for the sim card,
and are compatible with both the gsm frequencies along with cdma frequencies.
I just wonder if they're going to be a pain to unlock like some gsm phones can be.

I don't get why we don't all just use one type of data. I guess it's money for them... it would be so much easier for the consumer if they all had the same type. But since when do corporations care about us anyways? *sigh* I mean... they each have their benefits, but come on! Combine the good parts, drop the bad! (and what did I head about a TDMA service or something similar that verizon's supposed to switch to?)

Re: OpenGL Driver

ill just be happy as long as the GSM network comes soon with Bell because right now, they have NO phones at all... theyve got the Touch, Diamond and TP.
Whereas rogers has all the android devices, and unless bell gets GSM soon, Rogers will nab all the new HTC phones as well.:(

Re: OpenGL Driver

Andrew your not looking at the big picture, you can buy the phones out of Europe before they even think about coming here and use them with GSM.....that's the only reason why I want AT&T or T-Mob

i know you can buy phones from overseas but for me that is unfortuneately not an option as i cannot afford to buy a phone online and then get a plan for it. ive also got 2 more years on my vogue contract. which is another reason why im closely following bells gsm news, for my next phone. believe me if i could buy a newer phone i would, not to say im not happy with all you guys have done for the vogue. :)
