Conflippers Test Vogue WM 6.5 Roms

Hey I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a windows mobile 6.5 rom for vogue based of conflippers wm 6.5 kitchen? I know its still very unstable, I just want to play around with it. Thanks in advance.

Any pros/cons on this ROM?

Whats working? not working?

AND (no offense to Coinflipper intended whatsoever) is this a legit WinMO 6.5 or a shell/UI with 6.1 running it like other supposed WinMO 6.5 leaked/test ROMS

Just curious before going through it all to backup then flash my Vogue again with another 6.5 that turns out not really to be 6.5 again.

EDIT: Nevermind I found it. Can't get the data to work.

I tried running it, and it looked great! However, whenever I plugged in to USB, I got a com port error.. I also couldn't get online even after running the Telus programming.

Back to a 6.1 rom for me. :(

When I cooked 1 ROM with vogue wm 6.5 beta kitchen, everything worked, but when I watched sample video (its like 7 seconds on 800kb file)at the end the phone freezing, and nothing worked until soft reset.I think that full screen player is too good for vogue.

It looks great. Runs really fast. New IE looks good, but without data, I can't comment on it.

The comm port error can be fixed by going to USB to PC settings and enabling advanced network functionality. Couldn't get data to work on Sprint either.

Data will work if you share your USB connection with internet while hooked to activesync. Give that a shot. I will contiue to work on this.

Great. The shared data works, and I have to say this is the fastest ROM I've ever used. No lags whatsoever.

So I got VZW branded Vogue and I just download Conflipper's Rom. In Theory, all I have to do is flash my phone with his rom and thats it? What is this about carrier cab needs to be installed?

Re: Conflippers Test Vogue WM 6.5 Roms

well flashed it to check it out and it looks good, runs smoothly
everything worked except internet (even with 2 different versions of DCD Sprint Carrier cab) went to attempt to connect via USB and activesync wouldnt connect as well giving an error

Touch screen was a bit slow and harsh in this, took a great deal of pressure which Im sure via reg hack could have been corrected

Apps at times would not close off the screen (various settings pages, phone, network, activesync, etc) requiring a reset of the device to change

Looks and feels very similar to another "leaked" WinMO 6.5 that was dropped a few weeks back that was left at about the same point this one seems to be and without tearing into it to verify (just dont have the desire to actually) Ill hold off and suggest anyone else does as well without a great deal of background and skill in literally tearing this apart and reconfiguring it to work

other than the looks and feel being good, too much hassle at this time to try and correct large issues with connections to make it feasible for a long period of time to use so I flashed back to my current custom ROM via SD as activesync was unavailable to me LOL

good start like to see this with more work in place on it

"downgraded" to 6.1 what??? need some more info than that
6.1 custom ROM?
6.1 original ROM?
what carrier?
did you run a carrier cab for your service?
did you flash to a ROM for your phone or carrier?

All fixed now.
Went from 6.5 to custom OMJ Rom
no internet
from OMJ > NSFAN
No Internet
downgraded back to original sprint rom
RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.2_Radio_3.42.30 _AM_NV_2.04_Ship

Works perfect now.

Sorry for confusion

I'm getting this error, when connecting the usb for activesync...
Cannot open the connection "57600 Default"...
Does something need to be set before using usb for activesync?

As in my previous writeup, this is an Alltel ROM
I also had issues connecting via USB and after trying multiple things and some hard resets I gave up on it and went back to my current custom ROM and had to do it the bootloader way from the 512 card I keep just in case something like this occurs (1 with current custom ROM and 1 with latest Sprint ROM)

I did see there was a bluetooth available in the connection settings but as I dont use BT with my PC that was useless as well to me

I would suggest following the directions for reflashing via bootloader mode and going back to a custom ROM of your choice for your carrier and moving on until an official release of WinMO 6.5 comes out and is properly ported to the HTC Vogue phones

no one answered it because there is no detail there for anyone to know...

how are you flashing the ROM via activesync or bootloader mode off an SD Card? (if via activesync have you tried off a SD Card?)
if through activesync through the cable or a cradle?
what Radio version do you have on the phone to start with?
are you normally an Alltel customer? this ROM is an Alltel ROM and you may have network/internet issues if you flashed it anyway...
When you start to flash and it comes up with the error, what error and when?
does the error occur on your screen on your PC or on the phone itself? is there an error code given?

lets start there with some details and then people will be able to help you

As I posted earlier, that can be fixed by going to Settings> USB to PC > Enable Advanced Network Functionality

Some of you guys need to understand, THIS ROM IS BETA.... I see you bi**hing you cant connect to data, cant connect via USB, ..... yada yada yada.........

If you do not understand what BETA means you should NOT be flashing any ROM much less this one...

For those of you that I am talking to (and you know who you are) Let Con know what works and what don't.

READ

READ

READ!!!!

Stop complaining about things that if you had read, just a LITTLE bit, you would have known B4 you flashed that wasn't going to work....

If you want an 100% ROM do not flash this....

If you are willing to help Con test this BETA ROM out... Then by all means give it a shot... Just understand what you are getting into b4 you do......

They are letting him know whats up. Just because one person's data doesnt work doesnt mean they all don't. Their "complaining" is feedback. Which do you think will catch someones attention, telling them once on a little sticky note about a long list of problems, or a 5 paragraph essay listing more clearly on the problems.

to check your radio version click device information in the settings. as for your connection make sure your phone is connected to active sync and that you have no other programs running and that your phone is unlocked.
