Updated 3/10/09 Vogue Rom with New IE6 base 3.14

Dude thanks again for your responses. like the other user said, this is indeed a great ROM and I have already converted a friends Vogue to it. I wish it would be just as easy for cooks to release updates to rom, so we can update everything without the need for backup and restore or the conflicts that come with that.

Anyway, I seem to have played around too much with manilla customizer and lost my internet tabs opera links (it won't load). Can you please post the manilla configuration xml file(s) so that I can fix this and other future issues? Thanks.

You need the sprint aGPS cab. Here it is. It puts the aGPS info in the registry for you for sprint. I think the one version he has on the front page says it already has that info... The aGPS entries should be in the registry for both versions for sprint and vzw. I don't have sprint so I can't test however.

I think I've got the first link... and I can safely say gps was not working out of the box. Immediately after installing that cab I posted, it worked.

Before installing that cab I tried visualgps, google maps, live search, and pocket-twit... all could not get a gps fix. After installing the cab, from the same spot, I was able to get a fix from every app.

Good idea, let's compare... if everything is the same then I was just having freakishly bad luck with my gps...

can not get flash to work on most sites says i either do not have flash player installled or need to upgrade ne suggestions also seems i only get gps after running telnav then other apps like googlemaps

I tried doing what you suggested with the GoogleMaps upgrade, i.e. dropping the new GoogleMaps.exe in to the Windows folder. It kinda works, but my Google Maps is now show menus and options in Russian! I removed the file and it loaded the old one automagically. Any solutions?

This rom has flashlite 3.1 in there which only gives your flash 9.1. Exact version is in screencap on 1st post. Videos that require flash 10 cannot be played at this time on a mobile device however you can play much more than just with flash 7. I'll try to look into the sprint agps stuff. Try installing the sprint gps cab as was suggested earlier. I'm at work at the moment and will compare to my sprint aGPS registry entries which I may have gotten a little off.

Russian? You've got me on that one. Was it a WWE googlemaps cab you had installed? Google maps is required for proper integration with M2D so it needs to be installed and for that reason can't be left out. Try a hard reset if its still russian. There is nothing remotely russian lang included in the rom as posted.

You must be unlocked with 2.31 unlocker to do this.
