Also, is this safe to run on Sprint Phone? Meaning can I flash it and soft reset before customs and my phone will still be sprint?

I'm also interested... Has anyone successfully tested this out? I'm not in the position to flash to a rom that will make my phone implode  (it's a work phone)...

if this is for real, and works well... I think I might pass out with excitement...

I flashed it last night after I fixed it "My Way". :) Worked fine for me. My versions can be found in my sig. I have a Diamond and Manila2D Themed version, based off this winmo 19212 build.

For those that aren't aware, I replace the keyboard, kill all the provisioned crap, skin it, then upload a flashable rom, and an OEM package so you can add your own stuff. You verizon users out there, what else should I "fix"? Here is what I have:

RSTG_Verizon_Dia_OEM_V1.41-=--=-=- RSTG_Verizon_M2D_OEM_v2.14

RSTG_Verizon_Dia_NBH_v1.41-=-=-=--=-=- RSTG_Verizon_M2D_NBH_v2.141

Re: New vogue test rom

Looks tempting... So, I am a complete newb as far as flashing roms... I know that the usual process is something like:

1) Unlock with Imcokeman
2) Update radio with ... rom
3) Flash with custom rom

So if I was going to go from my stock Verizon rom to this leaked one... would the process be:

1) Unlock with Imcokeman
2) Update radio with leaked Verizon rom

If you have a Verizon Phone the only step you need is

Flash ROM

Re: New vogue test rom

I took the plunge and flashed...

I had to call Verizon to reauthenticat emy phone... No biggie. It is pretty fast (1790 kbit/sec with 3 bars of service). I haven't figured out the GPS yet (if it really did activate it). I did the aGPS fix on xda-developers, still can't get Google maps to get a fix. Is there a program to "prime the GPS" ? Or something... Ideas?

Yea its really fast, I couldn't get GPS to work as well, went back to the Bell rom and now I cant get GPS to work on that 1 as well.

Re: New vogue test rom

Yea... I'm sure I will get over it (the GPS)... I did have somethign weird happen though... after installing HTC Home (in prep for HTC customizer) the phone locked up (durring the restart process). It would freeze after the WM 6.1 splash screen. Had to hard-reset, and run *228 (option 1) to get the phone working again. If it does this to me again, I might run a custome rom on top of this radio. Should work, right?

I was thinking... Did you flash the bell rom on top of the Verizon radio? If so, maybe the Verizon radio doesn't really have the GPS unlocked.

Re: New vogue test rom

This is a test ROM from Verizon, not an official release.
I am sorry I made it sound like it was official.

GPS is locked down by Verizon, you need to know the secret Verizon GPS api with the right username/password to use it.

I don't know if ie6 is actually in this rom, maybe only the radio is useful...

Re: New vogue test rom

No worries... I am hoping that this is a clue that Verizon is coming out with a new Official ROM soon... I love the speed in this test one... even if the GPS is locked down.

I installed VZ Navigater but when I called Tech Support They couldn't put it on my account, they said my devise didn't support it, I guess because they didn't release the official rom yet.

I think the Verizon Radio can only be used with VZ Navigater,

Re: New vogue test rom

there is a parallel thread on 6.5 on this. i suspect vzw released this to get it beta tested on here and xda. they will try to lock out the gps so they can milk their navigator service.

the rumor was the official release is due by end of this month so i suspect this is step one ("release" a leak then get the experts here and xda to beta test bugs and cheats) then do some last minute cleanups and lockdowns (gps) before the "official" release). think of how much money they save by using your free expertise. you all are worth a boatload for your work and they get it for free.

as for vzw reauthentication i find that every time i do a hard reset i have to get reauthenticated on vzw by calling a tech support person. they always ask why as if it is their business. so a flash of new rom may cause the same kick off of the network? anyone with a cooked rom on vzw had to reauthenticate after installing a cooked rom? everytime you flash with a cooked rom?

i suspect vzw is trying to stay ahead of the hacks. maybe one day they will realize they cant.

Re: New vogue test rom

I installed this ROM about two hours ago and have had no problems. My xv6900 seems snappier, and I have noticed increased speed with certain third party applications such as business contact manager, S2U2, and HHC. I need to find out for sure if the gps is locked to vznavigator only, and if so how to unlock it.
