Re: New vogue test rom
I took the plunge and flashed...
I had to call Verizon to reauthenticat emy phone... No biggie. It is pretty fast (1790 kbit/sec with 3 bars of service). I haven't figured out the GPS yet (if it really did activate it). I did the aGPS fix on xda-developers, still can't get Google maps to get a fix. Is there a program to "prime the GPS" ? Or something... Ideas? |

Re: New vogue test rom
Yea... I'm sure I will get over it (the GPS)... I did have somethign weird happen though... after installing HTC Home (in prep for HTC customizer) the phone locked up (durring the restart process). It would freeze after the WM 6.1 splash screen. Had to hard-reset, and run *228 (option 1) to get the phone working again. If it does this to me again, I might run a custome rom on top of this radio. Should work, right?

Re: New vogue test rom
This is a test ROM from Verizon, not an official release.
I am sorry I made it sound like it was official. GPS is locked down by Verizon, you need to know the secret Verizon GPS api with the right username/password to use it. I don't know if ie6 is actually in this rom, maybe only the radio is useful... |
Re: New vogue test rom
No worries... I am hoping that this is a clue that Verizon is coming out with a new Official ROM soon... I love the speed in this test one... even if the GPS is locked down.

Re: New vogue test rom
I installed VZ Navigater but when I called Tech Support They couldn't put it on my account, they said my devise didn't support it, I guess because they didn't release the official rom yet.
