I'm having problems with the Telus M2D 2.14 ROM, it flashes fine, but when it reboots it hangs on the 2nd splash screen and never leaves. I have to put it into bootloader mode and flash something else. I've let it sit for 10 minutes on the splash screen and tried re-downloading, re-flashing, and even different RUU's. Any help? I really want to try this ROM.

Another casualty of me inproperly updating the sys... I can't remember if that was the week I quit drinking or if that was the week I quit smoking....

Are there any customizations that will try to run on these ROM? Really asking about the VZW ROM?

Carrier customizatinos have been stripped out and replaced with User Customization...

Are you using the OEM or NBH package? The OEM is for cooking your own rom, and the NBH is...well you just flash it. What exactly are you having issues with?

Hi - noob here.

I'm using M2D v2.14 Sprint, and can't seem to use GPS on this one.

I've downloaded GPS Viewer and it can't find anything on COM4; it is finding an open port on COM7 without any activity.

Can you provide any guidance to getting it working?

I use a close variant of the rom, and I get gps on com4 no issues. I let windows manage it (default), and use GPSToday, the application. I probably don't get 10 second locks, but I hardley ever use gps on my telephone. It just opened with 6 locks inside a metal building at work for me...

So I just flashed to your diamond vzw 1.4 and I can get a GPS lock with GPS Viewer immediately. However when I try my Tom Tom 7 it doesn't find the GPS Device unless I run GPS Viewer and then start my tom tom. I came from OMJ's ROM and tom tom used to lock right away with having to use any primer. Any suggestions?
