Dunno why but I can't find the file in : ..\Kitchen\SYS\Shell\mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml

It's not int \SYS\Shell. I even searched for it, I don't have that file in my kitchen

But when I run BuildOS.exe I get an error saying I have duplicate mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml

Any ideas?

Make sure you have explorer set to view system files. I verified it's location this morning before I left for work... It has the "hidden" attribute set.

Updated first post with v1.4.

I took the basic Rom Package and further seperated it out by putting all the camera, Album, and Zip files into their own OEM... This way almost any component can be easily updated/omitted.
I also deleted a couple of duplicate links out of the start menu, and added mark-all-as-read to outlook. Everyone needs that one.

Now everyone has an alternative to the ppckitchen, and a good stock base to build off of. Any more customization request, let me know! Enjoy folks!

hey rstoyguy how did you Disable Customer Feedback? i got my rom almost complete that and adding netcf3.5...that's all i got left but netcf is giving me issues....still got a few other things to try befor i give up and just have it install by cab during customization.

The easy way?

Delete ..\kitchen\sys\sqm

I am looking into other ways as well. i can see my simple registry edit I tried didn't work in my 1.4 release... Right now I'm playing with HKLM\Init registry settings so there aren't any errors. Of course deleting the above directory is how most currently do it, I'm looking into what else needs it. I don't want to kill my music store....

For SQM, I used no2chems dummy custsat.dll and I didnt have any issues. Its already OEM'd here. It is still deleting the SYS\SQM though...but maybe throw the dummy file in there and move SQM to an OEM

I think I tried that some time back, maybee I'll look into it some more. With the v1.4, it keeps it quiet until you go into messaging. Hmmm....SQM....Football.....I might wait until tommorrow! Thanks for digging that up ev!
