Dette, great Job on this one It kept up till 3 am playing and testing thanks for the good job well done.
Now if someone can only tell me how to get youtube working also I did get the GPS working took a few hard resets but got it going ..

Congtas Dette on you ROM success.... I'm not ready yet to venture into supporting my own ROM, but If you need any assistance in your endevour I'll be happy to help out any way I can... I have been learning a lot and as of late venture into SYS and XIP porting (as you already know ;) ) :headbang:

when I try to update my weather I get cannot connect " the answering modem has disconnected" my phone is also telling me I have no data sessions active and I cant connect to the internet either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im using v2.1.

Hey Chris, not sure if your sprint or not but after I downloaded and ran the dcd file for sprint settings I went to phone in settings and services then internet hit start and let that run it takes about a min the IOTA will appear while its runing then go away then I reboot after every setting or install I do hope that helps ...not sure but its worth a try..

Yea I have sprint. I forgot to install the cab so hopefully thats it. I'll let you know tonight and thanks for the reply!!

for anyone with GPS problems like I had I went to settings and to the PRI update option ran that I think it runs th ppst program but at any rate I now have GPS again 15-20 sec lock not blazing but good enough for me ..I get lost easy..LOL

Does this rom operate faster then the regular sprint stock rom??

I havent cooked a rom in ages since a few dcd roms lol and have stuck with the stock for quite a while.

Basically i use the phone to browse... and sometimes ICS and of course check my few popmail accounts

Alright everyone! I just woke up... :).. So I am just now checking the thread..

On the bright side I have a very good fix! I was googling on my phone this morning and just thought hell Ill google the youtube problem.. I found a fix within 2 minutes...

I did not create it but it works like a charm!


NOTE: I have attached a ZIP with 2 cabs!

I renamed the cabs so to make it easier to know which to install 1st and 2nd!
The second cab is made by ravest! It is his fix! The first cab is just HTC Youtube.. Make sure to install both!

Hey Dette... Couple of things about the YouTube fix....

1.- Ravest Patch will downgrade the version of your DShow, mVoHum and YouTube app.

2.- I have YouTube working with Vet's kitchen... the issue I have found is due to the CAMERA, becuse we are using the OLD VogueCamera it requires the old mHub files... If you are using YOCO's OEM folders in your kitchen I found that if you just use the CAMARA OEM folder and copy the dll files from the mHub to it without bringing the addintional .rgu, .dsm etc... you tube works like a charm again without having to downgrade your versions... ;)

Hmm that works too haha.. I knew that ravest downgraded Dshow.. It doesnt downgrade mHub though.. I dont think.... Ok I will try your suggestion

Dette, this ROM is awesome and I just wanted to say thanks! Also, I figured out the camera issue. In the midst of fooling around with the phone, I had set the screen to landscape and I guess it had issues with TF2D and that was what was causing the problem. I just turned off TF2D, changed the screen to portrait and soft reset. Then I turned TF2D back on and now the camera is fine.

yeah Manila2D does't support Landscape... there are a few people on getting to work with success for the Tilt... not sure it is a big deal for our phone I hardly ever use landscape mode...

Oh btw.. I actually just used the Dshow that was in there and not the one in ravest's but still used his fix.. I forgot about that.. Tried your fix.. And its working nicely :)

Try This OEM for your camera... use the same folder name as the archive for the OEM so this is processed by BUILD OS first and mVoHub and YouTube are processed after that hsould do the trick...

nope cant say I have that issue at hand. the clock in the title bar is not syncd with the today screen clock. The alarm feature on this phone (not the rom) either sucks or I was really tired last night. I kinda wish there was a touch talk key like the end key. And another thing that I noticed is that the sprint setup and diagnostic codes dont work. I dont know if that is just me or if that is something with a homebrewed rom. Any insight would be nice.

I think I already tried that keyboard cab and it's not the right one. The images on that page look nothing like the one I was referring to. The one I am thinking of was a full qwerty keyboard, and included all numbers and letters with no switching required. It was not a full screen keyboard, it still fit on the bottom of the screen. Hope that helps jog your memory :)

K am sorry maybe its not a cab am clueless to the most of the stuff around here thats why i thank you and the others who share the work you do with all of us.
when you load the rom then it asks you from the auto tier if you want to add the minilla theme, opera, wm6, etc etc when i installed the srswow on your 2.1 not sure if on this one yet am installing it now. i could not here any sound at all from my phone such as when you here the booting up ringer would go off no sound messages came in no sound and when a call came in i could see it the slide would work to answer or ignore but when i went to talk no one couold hear me nor can i hear anything either. when i reinstalled the rom leaving out that srswow from the auto installer phone worked fine. am gonna try now with the srswow file with your 2.2 if it doesnt work i will reinstall rom and leave out that cab.

I am very sorry but I dont know what the hell file your talking about! Lol.. I only know of the Increased Screen Sensitivity, Manila Theme, Opera Skin, Opera WWE and WM6 Opera

Its call HTC Performance ... If thats what you are referring to..

Thats because the picture shows a different keyboard style.. it comes with 3 styles.. phone pad, suretyp like on the BB Pearl, and the full keyboard

But from what I here this .cab does not work on qualcomm processors and that's exactly what I have been told by many great chefs even though a few still have it in their ROMs...

Yes it does not work on these processors actually.. But .. I still like using it.. I still see an increase in speed for some reason.. Mainly in the file explorer and opening the windows folder so I keep it in

ok installed ur 2.1 with eevrything under your auto installer and phone did not work.
just reinstalled everything but that SrsWow_Hd_eq.cab
and phone is working fine. im just letting you know what i did to get the phone to work since a cpl of other people had same issue as me thanks once again man
