its in the sliding program config you have to enable s2a and have to have dcd's original updated carrier settings cab

i stumbled apon qvga tf3d, opengl lib, and the manila shell files but cant get it werking. And Dette, YOU da man!! Help, insight please?

you said you are using 3.42.50 .. I am using 3.42.30 that was just a thought.. You shot it down which is OK.. any reason why?
The data issue.. Yeah it auto disconnects.. Its a reg setting I believe..
The opal dialer is just to nice not to use which sucks its GSM and screws with the phone =\=\.. Not fun.

They are porting TouchFlo 2D to QVGA but it does not currently work on the Vogue.. The 3D Drivers havent been ported and I am not sure if its because they cant be or not(You could search XDA thats where all this is happening).. I have seen TFLO 3D on a Tilt though which was cool..(YouTube :)) but as of now we cant get on on the Vogue

Answering calls.. I have no idea what the deal is.. Doesnt happen for me at all.. I wonder if its the radio version.. I have 3.42.30 which is not the latest the latest is 3.42.50 so thats just a thought
Your phone answers calls immediately? Did you do anything other than flash your rom, hard reset, install dcd's carrier CAB? :-\

FWIW, I'm on 3.42.30, too.

Yep answers immediately.. Since I released 2.3 (Which is what I am running as well) I missed 1 call from not answering .. Every other has been flawless.. Just slide and bam

With 2.2 I was having random answering problems. But, since I updated to 2.3 and used the newest dcd alltel cab I have not had one issue answering calls. One thing I changed in the S2U2 settings was just enabling the dpad and thats it.

Yeah I used the latest DCD.. Thats all.. I didnt edit any settings at all because my ROM has them the way I want them.. I wonder if people are not using the latest DCD?

I downloaded the latest dcd on the 3rd of this month, and he didn't have a new one as of yesterday. I may give it another go.

dette: Does Vet's 2.5 drop the data connection like this one does? I may just give that kitchen a shot, too.

Edit: If you need to compare reg. settings to a ROM which doesn't drop the data connection, I'll be glad to help. :)

Well I havent had to much of a chance to play with Vet's new kitchen.. Had to work today.. I will let you know once I know

Just checking but did you get your dcd from this page?

Edit: Also, you may want to find the latest Sprint PPST cab.

FYI: for all who are having issues with receiving incoming calls...re-install s2u2 and it will fix the issue. Looks like there might be something wrong with the s2u2 that comes with the rom. I was having the same problem until I re-installed s2u2...now I'm able to receive calls with no problems.

Ok so does anyone here have any XIP knowledge? I cant figure out how to extract xip.bin from os.nb.payload.. I need to edit the XIP because its doing something ... Errrm.. Not good lets say.. Anyways.. Anyone have any ideas on that?

Yeah...I got my CAB direct from DCD's site. :)

is anyone else still getting the youtube error? on 2.3 it was working fine and now tis morning its gone back to must have 8mb free space required or whatever i tried a soft reset an what not hmmmm

what version did you install? i tried 1.33 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=412418 and still get the same error, i slide over to answer and it takes a good 10 seconds to answer if the other person hasnt hung up before that. and when i tried to install it it didnt tell me anything about deletingt he old one to upgrade like apps usually do. thanks

I am currently re flashing 2.3 (speaking of it just got done) so I will see whats going on with the Dialer and if it works for me or not

The answering problem happens for me on Vet's 2.4.5 without S2U2 ever being installed, so I highly doubt S2U2 is the cause. Though I haven't tried 2.4.5 with the latest dcd - just the dcd before 10/30. I may give that a go this weekend to see if it helps.

i think i see the problem, you gotta let it ring more then once and then answer. if you try to answer as soon as the caller id pops up the phone will just lag with the slider on the answer position. or atleast this is what i have noticed on both mine and my girls vogues. maybe a third person can confirm this?

I thought the same at first but after awhile the problem will eventually start happening again. I have tried installing a different dialer and that does seem to alleviate the answering problem.. but like Dette said, the canvas dialer is really nice..

The Opal Phonecanvas is just awesome! Best dialer I have used.. I just wish it worked for you guys!

My screen keeps turning off during the first startup after flashing and never responds any one have any ideas? All i have is the flashing green led......

edit: ok nevermind it just took longer then usual then poped up sorry for the wasted post

Haha no worries I thought the same thing when I first flashed my own ROM.. I thought I did something wrong.. Scared me for a bit

What version of the kitchen did you use to make this? I wanna use this rom but I wanna remove some programs. I don't know how you'd feel about me deconstructing and constructing the rom though.

I tried doing it with the tutorial posted here, but I think Vetvito may have protected the kitchen. I tried to deconstruct it but nothing shows up in the OEM folder and in the SYS folder I get a folder named, Beta, Make your own rom. LOL

Another quick question:

It seems as if my activesync connection is stuck with the advanced network connection function turned on. How can I revert it back to the USB serial connection? It was working at first.

Nevermind. I just had to dig through the Windows Folder.

Im on dette 2.2.. and when someone calls and i press send it literally takes 10-15 seconds before it switches to the next screen and i can hear the person why is that?

is there a way to disable s2u2 in dettes rom?

I believe the reason this happens is because its the opal dialer made for gsm phones and isn't exactly compatible with cdma, I'm sure I read that in this thread..

s2u2 you can go to the settings and turn it off or you can disable it thru your windows folder...

man imma have to flash to a diff rom =\ fro two days straight no matter what i couldnt answer calls =\ out of 3 phones i flashed with this only one works perfectly i wonder what it is. all of them flashed the exact same way..

upgraded to sprint latest rom, unlocked, flashed your rom. wonder what the hell the problem is.

Ok, only bugs im having are these:

The inability to just minimize a window, i changed the settings and no matter what they are set to, you click the X and it closes the application. Not sure whats causing this.

Other problem is the fact i install crwinger's Cricket MMS cab and the Arcsoft Return Receipt functino is now automaticly turned on where its not on any other roms i've installed it on. I can shut it off, but as soon as i close the message and come back to it, its back on. Very odd. Any idea's?

No, I just flashed the ROM. everything else works good, well with the exceptiopn of the S2u2. But no, I did not edit anything.
