Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

I am having problems with dciNoBar.exe not working on this build and the last one. It worked great on the 19588 build. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be great. Thanks for the great work.

Checking the date of Vogue_WM6.1_GPS_3.02.rar (July 20) it appears I'm good to go?

You definitely seem to be on an old version. Here are what mine reads (also make sure you have all the corresponding rar's downloaded) and I'm using the latest:

KitchenDir=Kitchens\Vogue_Core.rar:;
ModuleDir=kitchens\SYS_20226_QVGA.rar:
ModuleDir=kitchens\Generic_OEM.rar:
ModuleDir=kitchens\Drivers_Vogue.rar:
ModuleDir=kitchens\Carriers_Vogue.rar:
ModuleDir=kitchens\000_Shareware.rar:
ModuleDir=kitchens\PPCGeeks_OEM.rar:

Did you also choose all the updates to BuildOS as well in the updater?

Okay ... this is a minor glich ... when my phone connects to data ... I get the balloon that says "connecting to Alltell Data #777)" ... only problem is I'm with vzw ... it does connect to vzw data (I think ... can't imagine Alltell would let my phone connect) ... so it's not a biggie.

Make sure you selected the correct carrier. You may have accidentally selected Alltell instead of VZW......

If flashing seems like too much to fix something so little, look for DCD's verizon carrier cab

the download location i know of is down for the moment

Get the official selections.txt for the rom you want to build, then cut and paste the OEM entries at the end of your old selections.txt into the new selections.txt.

I'm sorry, I've been out of the loop forever.. Does 911 work still? I don't really care about the ## codes, but emergencies would be a deal breaker for me :lol:

In all cases I've seen, on a CDMA device when the data connection arrows never indicate idle, it's a sign the dialer is a GSM version. The bad side is generally, 911 doesn't work either.

I gotta be honest, I'm not sure what you're saying. I have the sprint vogue, so it's CDMA. I can get the data to be turned 'off'
Yet I'm still confused by your reply.
