not sure what Im going to do .. if you want the cube in the mean time you can download and cab and install it that way.

thank you for responding so quickly. thanks for the information regarding gps, i will try it. can you or someone explain how to install .cab files to the unit please. i miss the touch flow cube and would like to re-install it. where can i download it from? i really love what you have done to this ROM keep up the great work. on another matter, i have my mapopolis maps and navigator from awhile ago, that i have installed on my touch. everythink works well, except i get a message that my maps are not enabled for gps.

basiclly you need to have a .txt file on the root of your storage card which is named SDConfig.txt

Just do a search for the cube, you can find many different ones.. Im going to make another version with the Cube but not until I decide that this Rom is final, I Dont use the cube myself and I dont want to Test with it.. So like I say,, once this is final then Ill just add it.. but until then I dont want to be updating more then one version of the ROM.

your Map program giving you that error.. i really dont know whats that about.. Im not familar with that program.

Either way, this ROM is solid. Nice job. I can install the other stuff. Keep up th egood work (I'll agree the cube is definately not needed)

Thanks, Ive got someone testing a version with the cube right now.. so I might release that also if it works out.. also for all you TELUS users.. I have a TELUS ROM which ill be putting up Very Sooon.

A little side question. Just wondering about the integrated GPS. Is it always "on"? If so, does it have an effect on battery life? Or do you just turn it on when needed? Thanks.

No its not always on, it does go into standby and that is actually the reason that the device has to be soft reset to re initialize the gps.. if you dont want the GPS on at all you have to change your location setting under the phone settings to OFF.

thanks again, i managed to get the gps to work using google maps. i did not kill the gps program and it ate battery time big time, evev though it took a few hours to do so. so when i use this feature, i will be using dc car power. is there a way to configure it, not to draw so much power when not in use and on the unit's battery power?
