Yes you can! Just follow the upgrade steps exactly, don't let carrier customizations run.. I know that verizon is now shipping their devices with crippled GPS.. =/

I tried running this on my Verizon 6900 and it tells me I have the wrong vendor ID. I'd really like to get the GPS unlocked and working. I'm sort of a newbie on ROMs and upgrades - can someone help?

Ok, i have been trying all day to try and figure out what im supposed to dload for the htc touch to run the diamond program. can someone help me out or point me in the right direction?

I currently have the 6700 but if I decide to get the touch does gps cost extra to use since it is has an internal antenna? If I put Google maps on does it use the gps without power vision? I have no data plan on my plan now and i have no intention of getting it either.

Doesn't matter about the antenna, internal or otherwise. GPS uses data though. some programs like Live Search don't cost extra, but need the data network to operate. rograms like Sprint Nav, telenav, incur monthly charges over and above basic data. I don't use them as Live Search works well enough. Face it, a data plan is in your future.
